About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assistant to join our dynamic and growing Hyde Aero Products Divisional Quality Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in improving Quality Management Practices across the wider Hyde Aero Products Division.

Main Duties
  • Drive continuous improvements to reduce non-conformances and identify and resolve issues within your control.
  • Proactively identify and resolve quality issues using problem-solving techniques, whether related to process or product failures.
  • Ensure customer concerns are fully investigated, and corrective action is taken to contain the issue and prevent future occurrences.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders, providing timely and professional responses to queries and discussions.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, understanding customer specifications, and learning/developing further knowledge within the internal and Divisional Quality department.
  • Participate in internal audits with the Quality Manager/Quality Engineer and assist Senior Quality Engineers during external/customer audits.
  • Manage customer standards and specifications, ensuring timely communication with the wider Division.
  • Produce, manage, and distribute a suite of KPIs to drive continual improvement.
  • Develop an understanding of a Quality Management System to assist the Quality Department in standardizing our approach to procedural development.
Essential Skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • IT literacy in the Microsoft Suite of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Good team working ethic, highly proactive, and motivated.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and/or off-site as needed.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Committed to learning and personal development.
  • Prior understanding of EN9100/ISO9001 Quality Management Systems is desired but not mandatory.
