Purpose / Role
  • To provide a reliable, high-quality plating construction service in alignment with project and organizational standards and protocols.

Key Aims and Objectives
  • To execute all necessary discipline-related tasks safely and consistently, adhering to project specifications and requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Comprehend and apply all relevant company and project policies, ensuring that plating and structural tasks are completed to a high standard and safely.
  • Adhere to the schedule provided by the supervisor.
  • Carry out all work in accordance with the relevant workpack/job card instructions, associated procedures, and drawings/sketches.
  • Offer assistance to other trades or disciplines as needed, or collaborate as part of a multi-discipline team.
  • Request necessary permits to work (PTW) to ensure that tasks are performed in a controlled and safe manner (onshore only).
  • Conduct appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) to ensure tasks are completed safely and under control.
QUALIFICATIONS

Essential
  • Completion of a 4-Year Apprenticeship or Level 3 equivalent.
  • Possession of a safety passport.
  • Completion of mandatory training, including induction and risk awareness.
  • Certification in Abrasive Wheels.
  • Training in Working at Height/Harness.
Desirable:
  • Certification in Manual Handling.
  • Knowledge of I.S.S.O.W.
