Key Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Nursing Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive care plans tailored to the physical, emotional, and social needs of children and adolescents.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and effective care delivery.
  • Advocating for the rights and needs of children under your care.
  • Contributing to the advancement of evidence-based practices within the pediatric services.
  • Supporting innovative changes in line with clinical guidelines and national standards.

Work Environment

Our unit comprises a 30-bed facility, including en-suite cubicles, a fully equipped High Dependency Unit (HDU), and a Day Surgery area. The newly established Assessment Unit enhances our capacity to provide timely care for children referred by healthcare professionals.
