About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at GSL Education - Southampton. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained in our beautiful Montessori Nursery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Promote a consistently high standard in all issues relating to learning and teaching in line with the nursery ethos and policies
  • Support the Directors and Managers to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery, ensuring that all children receive the highest levels of care and education
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are always maintained
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 early years qualification
  • Managerial or room lead experience
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS
  • Extensive safeguarding knowledge
