Social Worker Early Help Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to provide targeted support to vulnerable children and young people in the Liverpool area.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work with children who are living in kinship or family care arrangements and are at risk of family breakdown, struggling with emotional and behavioural difficulties, experiencing neglect, domestic abuse, parental mental health or substance/alcohol misuse issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete holistic, child-centred assessments and create outcome-focused, child-centred plans
- Provide targeted support to children and families to prevent family breakdown and promote positive outcomes
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting vulnerable children and families
Requirements:
- 1-3 years' experience working within Early Help, Children in Need or Child Protection
- Counselling qualification with either adults or children (desirable but not essential)
