Job Purpose:

The installation and inspection of access and safety equipment and site management across the UK at clients' sites is a critical aspect of our operations at NCP Network Ltd.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Installation and inspection of flexible anchor lines to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Design and installation of bespoke access equipment, including fixed ladders, plant access, and steelwork, to meet clients' specific needs.
  • Site management as Principal Contractor under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
  • Mentoring and training a team of engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Person Specification:

  • Extensive knowledge of anchor systems conforming to BS EN 795 and 7883.
  • Existing manufacturer certification in the installation of flexible anchor lines.
  • Previous experience in the design and installation of height safety fabrications.
  • Punctuality and a high level of attention to detail are essential.
  • Good numeracy and literacy levels are required for effective communication and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and clients.
  • Full clean driving license is necessary for site visits and travel.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including working away from home if required.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience of managing multi-site project streams.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • Ability to survey and design fabrications for site-specific requirements.
