Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload vehicles, ensuring that goods are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Warehouse Management: Book goods in and out of the warehouse, processing imports and exports with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Freight Handling: Break down pallets, check freight, and label shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift truck to move goods around the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Time Management: Work towards tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks to meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Forklift License: Possess a valid forklift license and be trained in its safe operation.
  • Computer Literacy: Be proficient in using a PC and relevant software.
  • Work History: Have a 5-year checkable work history and a minimum of 2 years' experience in freight or cargo handling.

Working Hours:

  • Shift Pattern: Work Tuesday to Saturday, with opportunities for overtime (paid at time and a half).
