Associate Director of Project Management

Conrad Consulting is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead their project management department. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering complex construction and development projects, with excellent technical and commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the project management department, ensuring successful delivery of projects and effective line management of junior staff.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing key technical and cost/commercial advice across various sectors.
  • Monitor and control changes/variations, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the project management team, managing design teams and communicating effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage risks, plan and monitor progress, and develop appropriate project controls.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex construction and development projects.
  • Excellent technical and commercial skills, with a good understanding of the construction consultancy sector.
  • Proven ability to cross-sell and win/retain clients, with a strong network of private and public sector contacts.
  • Full membership of a relevant professional institution (CIOB, APM, RICS).
