The Electronics Group is a leading provider of security solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Installation Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Security Systems Installation Specialist to install, test, and commission various types of security equipment, including CCTV systems, intruder alarms, access control systems, and perimeter intrusion detection systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Gallagher control equipment hardware and be able to develop detailed inspection and test plans to ensure works are installed and completed as per the agreed design and methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and commission various security equipment, including CCTV systems, intruder alarms, access control systems, and perimeter intrusion detection systems.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Gallagher control equipment hardware and software.
  • Develop detailed inspection and test plans to ensure works are installed and completed as per the agreed design and methodology.
  • Complete factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests to ensure manufactured systems are safe, working correctly, and suitable for handover.
  • Travel to various sites throughout England and Wales to install and commission security equipment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of security systems and Gallagher control equipment hardware and software.
  • Excellent installation, testing, and commissioning skills.
  • Ability to develop detailed inspection and test plans.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
