About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Digital Continuity Team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Create a strategic roadmap for digital transformation in manufacturing and engineering processes, leveraging expertise in digital engineering tools and platforms.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of technology solutions that enhance digital engineering and manufacturing capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with existing enterprise architecture.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for digital manufacturing, considering factors such as cloud computing, big data analytics, and AI/ML applications.
  • Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide architectural guidance, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to align technology initiatives with business objectives, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and enforce technology standards, best practices, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
  • Monitor the performance of technology solutions and make recommendations for improvements, driving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Optimize enterprise architecture to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs, staying abreast of emerging technologies and trends in digital engineering and manufacturing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading engineering digital transformation initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
  • Proficiency in digital engineering tools and platforms, such as CAD, PLM, MES, and IoT technologies.
  • Experience with cloud computing, big data analytics, and AI/ML applications in manufacturing.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Defence contract: SC or higher security (currently holding or eligible).
  • Defence contract: Must Hold a UK Passport, Dual National not eligible.
