To provide high-quality teaching, create effective learning opportunities, and enable learners to achieve their best.

1. Teach A Level and Level 3 Applied Law, with a focus on creating engaging and effective learning experiences.
2. Undertake initial assessments to identify special learning needs and provide targeted support.
3. Ensure learners are registered with the college and awarding bodies.
4. Plan and prepare teaching and learning programs, considering the linguistic needs of students.
5. Develop and use a range of teaching techniques to encourage individual learning and facilitate learning through experience.
6. Identify and address poor motivation and challenge inappropriate behavior.
7. Arrange and supervise work experience placements, following agreed procedures.
8. Contribute to college quality assurance systems and maintain tutorial systems in line with college guidelines.
9. Provide advice, guidance, induction, pastoral, and academic support, and signpost to other suitable support avenues.
10. Maintain assessment records and provide information to relevant stakeholders.
11. Use feedback from quality assurance systems to improve your own practice.
12. Keep up to date with current developments within your specialist field.
13. Participate in the college Performance Review system to evaluate your performance and identify development needs.
14. Engage in relevant continuous professional development.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a qualified educator with a passion for teaching and learning. You'll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders. You'll also need to be committed to ongoing professional development and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
