About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team at Flexicruit Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal condition of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks, including MOT preparation, defect rectification, and tyre management.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment, such as VCAD and Texa, to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct inspections and maintenance tasks on a weekly basis to ensure compliance with road safety regulations.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to colleagues as needed.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar mechanical role, preferably in a fleet maintenance environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Technical understanding and diagnostic experience, preferably with VCAD or TEXA.
  • Availability to work Saturday mornings.
  • Own hand tools and a valid HGV Class 1 license.
  • Welding and fabricating experience is highly desirable.
