Yard Attendant

As a Yard Person, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are cleaned and valeted to a high standard, ready for rent at all times. This includes:

• Ensuring vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and valeted, including the interior and exterior.
• Maintaining lubricants, water, and other fluids in all vehicles.
• Completing minor damage repairs on each vehicle, including replacing external parts.

You will also be responsible for:

• Checking and maintaining all equipment in each vehicle to ensure it is in full working order.
• Assisting in operating effective yard processes, including moving vehicles within the yard and operating the truck wash as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe yard environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• A valid driving licence.
• A HGV Class C licence is an advantage.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to carry out any other reasonable tasks as required.
• Be honest and open in your work.

Salary is negotiable, dependent on experience.
