Job Summary
IDEX Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Solicitor to join our Business Crime and Regulatory team in Leeds. As a leading national law firm, we are recognized for our expertise in regulatory work, and we are looking for a talented individual to contribute to our success.
About the Role
We are seeking a Regulatory Solicitor with experience in environmental and health safety law, as well as food safety, inquests, and product liability/recall. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private practice or in-house, with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Defend clients in serious workplace incident criminal cases and alleged environmental offences
- Represent clients at inquests and inquiries
- Provide advisory work on areas such as food law, product regulation, and advertising/marketing
Requirements
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience
- Experience in environmental and health safety law, food safety, inquests, and product liability/recall
- Strong background in private practice or in-house
