Job Title: Academic Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Tutor to join our team at the British Academy of Jewellery. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach CAD and Jewellery Manufacture and Design units to Diploma learners
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans, support materials, and other teaching-related materials
  • Ensure lessons, delivery, and assessments meet with the standards set by awarding bodies and other organizations
  • Monitor equality and diversity, ensuring learners feel safe and receive equal opportunities
Requirements:
  • Level 2 qualifications in Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent)
  • Relevant qualifications in CAD and teaching and assessing
  • Experience using Rhino in a jewellery design context
  • Desirable: practising jeweller with strong links to art or the jewellery industry
