About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced construction solicitor with 3-5 years PQE to join our client's Contentious Construction team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction disputes and a proven track record of resolving complex and high-value disputes quickly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting for a diverse client base of contractors, government bodies, public authorities, private developers, funders and other stakeholders around the world, involved in high-value construction and engineering work.
  • Resolving difficult and complex disputes quickly and efficiently.
  • Advising on a broad range of projects including commercial, industrial, retail, hotel and leisure, energy, utilities and other major projects such as large engineering schemes and infrastructure projects.
  • Having extensive experience of the principal standard form contracts including FIDIC, JCT, NEC, RIBA, ACE, IChemE and IEE as well as many forms of bespoke contracts.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years PQE in construction disputes gained from a top City or international practice.
  • Strong background in construction disputes and a proven track record of resolving complex and high-value disputes quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
