About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to customers, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
- Encourage customers to participate in social activities and engage in conversation to build trusted relationships
- Work collaboratively with the care team to identify and meet the needs of customers
- Maintain accurate records of care and support provided
Requirements
- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, preferably in a care or residential setting
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- Basic administrative skills and IT proficiency
- Desirable: awareness of CQC standards and experience of providing direct care to a diverse group of customers
