Mortgage Advisor Role

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Advisor to join our team at D&R Recruitment Limited. As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be responsible for taking new enquiries from various sources, identifying the requirements, and placing them with the correct lender. You will also be responsible for underwriting new applications, packaging them with care, and presenting a perfectly packaged case to a lending partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all details are fully completed on our CRM system immediately once a new enquiry is received.
  • Carry out a fact find with direct customers where the loan is for a regulated mortgage contract, and provide expert advice if qualified.
  • Complete sourcing for all new enquiries.
  • Initial enquiries follow up with a call to the broker or client.
  • Check over terms completed by our admin team and send out with necessary compliance documentation to the client or broker.
  • Keep notes up to date on all cases.
  • Ensure that all folders are up to date and compliant.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of mortgage products and regulations. You will also need to be able to maintain existing broker and customer relationships, generating leads from these contacts.
