Overview

- Deliver comprehensive, reliable, and cost-effective network engineering solutions in a multi-vendor, multi-platform environment.
- Lead, train, and support internal team members in support of operational activities in a critical, fast-paced data center environment.
- Support assigned regional projects, including planning, time and cost control, resource utilization, and implementation.
- Develop detailed requirements for upgrading existing corporate and MasterCard networks, as well as re-architecting network segments to facilitate new requirements, technologies, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve network communications and operations problems impacting customer or backbone access and performance globally.
- Install and support enterprise-class IT networks in test and production environments.
- Work on problems of diverse scope, requiring evaluation and judgment.
- Manage and implement network projects, overseeing the installation and support of network communications.
- Understand and incorporate new network products into the MasterCard Operations environment.
Requirements
- Intermediate IT experience, including involvement in IT projects on a full-time basis.
- Networking experience, including LAN/WAN, wireless, and security technologies.
- TCP/IP protocol communications.
- Knowledge of Cisco's product portfolio, including F5 BIG-IP, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA, and CCNA or CCNP certification.
- Network connectivity, including IPv4, IPv6, and port assignment.
- Knowledge of F5 BIG-IP and VMWare AVI products.
- Knowledge of SSL and digital certificates.
- Knowledge of load balancing.
- Understanding and utilization of high-level project management methodologies and best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with good listening and interpersonal skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented for all responsibilities.
- Displays work behaviors of high integrity and honesty.
- Able to take direction and follow established processes and procedures.
