Team Leader 7.5T

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Pickfords. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the safe loading of vehicles and storage containers, and maintaining our high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of workers, ensuring compliance with all company procedures and standards.
- Ensure the safety, discipline, and workmanship of yourself and your team.
- Communicate clearly with customers, maintaining timetables and service expectations.
- Take responsibility for any project you are assigned to manage, whether that be a medium commercial move or something on a larger scale.
To excel in this role, you must be literate and numerate and hold a CPC Certificate. While a fork lift license is desirable, it is not essential. Superior customer service skills are essential, and you will need to consistently adhere to company instructions, policies, discipline, and health and safety standards. This includes accident reporting and the ability to conduct risk assessments.
We are looking for someone with high personal and professional standards, who has a cooperative attitude and excellent customer service skills. A clean driving license and record is also required. Problem-solving skills are crucial, as you will need to address challenges that arise daily. Additionally, the ability to coach and train others is important, along with strong briefing skills and the capability to take necessary actions based on feedback.
