We are seeking a caring and passionate Support Worker to join our Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. Located in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan, our service supports adults aged between 18 and 65.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices. You will ensure the safety of the service users, follow care plans for each individual, and participate in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage independence and support individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensure the safety of the service users.
  • Follow care plans for each individual.
  • Take service users out into the community.
  • Participate in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.

Requirements:

  • No experience is required.
  • Must be resilient.
  • Drivers ESSENTIAL due to location.
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care.

About the Role:

This is a full-time permanent position with a salary of £26,477 - £26,926 (including sleeps) + Plenty of overtime available. The role involves a variety of shifts, including optional sleeps, and is located in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan.
