Job Title: Interim Group Treasury Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Group Treasury Manager to join our client's team on a 12-month interim assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Group Treasury function and providing strategic guidance to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective cash management strategies to optimize working capital and reduce costs.
  • Oversee the management of cash pooling, working capital, and loan facilities to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Lead the mitigation of foreign exchange risk through various means, including natural hedging and financial instruments.
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial controls in the areas of treasury, including bank reconciliation and payments controls.
  • Maintain bank mandates to ensure access to bank accounts is restricted appropriately and efficiently.
  • Oversee efficient and effective banking operations, identifying and leading improvements.
  • Ensure the provision of banking and payment facilities that are fit for purpose and facilitate business operations.
  • Govern the implementation of Treasury IT solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage monthly forecasts, including overseas and debt drawdowns.
  • Manage key relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
  • Control group debt compliance and implement strategies to minimize group credit usage and reduce interest expenses.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on treasury matters, providing guidance, training, and policies within the Finance team and across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACT, ACA, or equivalent)
  • Experience working within a Group Treasury team
  • Management of cash pooling, working capital, and loan facilities
  • Strong analytical and data organization skills
