**About the Role:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Special Education Needs Assistant to join our team at Five Education.
  • As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Education Needs (SEN) and/or mental health challenges in special schools.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to pupils, either one-on-one or in small groups, to help them remain focused and on task.
  • You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each pupil.
  • **Key Responsibilities:**
    • Support pupils with SEN and/or mental health challenges in a special school setting.
    • Assist pupils with daily tasks, such as homework, reading, and writing.
    • Help pupils develop social skills, emotional regulation, and behavioral management.
    • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create and implement individualized learning plans.
    • Provide a safe and supportive environment for pupils to learn and grow.
  • **Requirements:**
    • Right to work in the UK (Valid Visa)
    • Relevant references and DBS/Police checks
    • 30, 3-5 days per week, term time only
