Job Overview
As a Residential Caregiver, you will have the exceptional opportunity to become an integral part of a client's life by providing tailored, one-on-one support in their own home. Our available positions are located in the charming areas of Pocklington and Brough, known for their rich history and stunning natural landscapes.
We are seeking a female caregiver to assist a client who is living with dementia.
Location: Bishop Wilton. Closest Town: Pocklington - 5 miles, Closest City: York - 14 miles
Work Schedule: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
Compensation: £840 per week
Requirements: This position is situated in a rural area, so it is essential that Care Professionals are able to drive. The client has a vehicle available for your use if you do not have your own, as public transport options are limited.
Responsibilities: Your role will involve providing both practical assistance and emotional support to a client living with dementia. The client is capable of performing many tasks independently but requires encouragement to do so. With your support, the client enjoys activities such as going for walks, visiting local cafés, baking, and participating in household chores. She also appreciates pampering sessions, including nail and hair care.
The caregiver will be expected to:
Assist the client in maintaining a clean and organized home. The client takes pride in her living space and will need help ensuring it remains tidy. Prepare and share meals with the client. She enjoys cooking and is particularly fond of making apple crumble with assistance. Aid the client with personal care and medication management.Accommodation: The client resides in a lovely home where you will have your own bedroom, bathroom, and access to Wi-Fi.
