Position Overview
We are dedicated to the advancement and implementation of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system for our healthcare network. We are pleased to present opportunities for secondment or fixed-term contracts to join our initiative as an EPR Analytics Coordinator.
We seek a candidate with a strong background in reporting who will take on the role of a Central Analytics Coordinator. The ideal applicant will possess experience in NHS statutory reporting, complemented by any relevant EPR deployment experience. Your passion for digital transformation is essential, and we will provide any necessary technical training to ensure your success in this position. The central analytics coordinator will serve as the primary contact for the workstream, collaborating with suppliers and local leads at each healthcare facility. This role involves discussing current and future workflows, establishing the reporting strategy across the network, and addressing statutory reporting requirements.

All internal candidates should obtain approval from their line manager prior to applying. Positions are available across our network, and successful candidates will have the opportunity to remain within their home organization.
Key Responsibilities
The role encompasses the following responsibilities:
- Leading a central workstream in the development of processes and system design within the defined scope.
- Coordinating workstream activities to ensure alignment across multiple sites and other workstreams, identifying interdependencies, and implementing mitigation plans as necessary to maintain project timelines.
- Ensuring that the systems and processes of the new EPR and integrated care systems are effectively integrated into operational and clinical practices. This requires a comprehensive understanding of service requirements and the benefits that the new EPR can provide, as well as contributing to policy and protocol development to meet both service and implementation needs.
- Developing Standard Operating Procedures and policies for the safe and accurate implementation of the new EPR.
- Influencing leadership at all levels to foster engagement with the program, utilizing appropriate change management tools.
Qualifications

- Post-graduate diploma level education or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.

- Project management certification.
Experience

- Extensive experience in an acute hospital setting, with clear expertise in the relevant workstream.
- Proven track record of engaging with internal stakeholders.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience in project management.

- Experience in coordinating software testing.
- Strong understanding of the NHS, particularly the NHS modernization agenda, along with comprehensive knowledge of NHS system procedures and information flows.
- Familiarity with the use of information and information systems within the NHS.

- Ability to perform advanced keyboard functions, including data entry and system configuration.
