Position Overview:

  • Oversee the assessment, evaluation, upkeep, and restoration of welding and engineering machinery.
  • Utilize a broad spectrum of tools, including diesel and petrol welding machines, Tig and Mig welders, fume extraction systems, pipe threading devices, jointing tools, and crimping equipment.
  • Engage collaboratively with fellow engineers, drivers, and the hire desk personnel to efficiently prioritize maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in testing and repairing welding machinery to stringent standards, with a preference for experience in the rental sector.
  • Possession of NVQ Level 2 or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Desirable background in technical or engineering disciplines, along with electrical proficiency.
  • Adaptable approach to working hours.
  • Contribute to the business unit/team in achieving the ESG Strategy.
