Everest People Solutions is exclusively recruiting for a National Commercial Administrator for a leading food processor based in Preston. As National Commercial Administrator, you will be supporting the National Account Manager and the Site Head of Commercial in all administrative duties, enhancing key customer relationships and improving service reporting. The National Commercial Administrator role is pivotal in maintaining high standards and contributing to continued success. The successful candidate will receive full on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities as National Commercial Administrator
- Serve as the main contact for our client's retail customer's regional supply chain colleagues, facilitating the order receipt process.
- Manage product data setup for new launches, ensuring completion before the first production.
- Prepare customer pricing files with precision.
- Assist in planning customer promotional activities.
- Produce and maintain weekly order forecasts using the planning tool.
- Update and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including service level performance to retail customers.
- Utilise reporting tools to provide proactive feedback and improve performance.
- Prepare and organise product samples for retail customers.
- Support ad hoc requests from internal management or customers.
- Explore development opportunities within the business.
Objectives for the National Commercial Administrator
- Enhance supplier inbound performance.
- Communicate KPI reports effectively.
- Provide analysis and recommendations across supply chain and commercial departments.
- Maintain and exceed on-shelf availability targets.
- Achieve promotional performance targets.
- Embed cross-functional forecasting processes.
- Implement and integrate value-adding activities and innovations within the team.
- Conduct store visits and competitor analysis, providing reports and recommendations.
- Complete ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements for the National Commercial Administrator
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using Microsoft package, especially Excel is essential.
- Ambitious, customer-focused team player.
- Willingness to travel to other sites, customer offices, or retail stores; a full, clean driving license is required.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- A collaborative team player capable of interacting across various departments.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage workloads effectively under pressure.
