Position Overview

Financial Planning & Analysis Lead

Are you an analytical finance expert looking for a new challenge within a dynamic and expanding Consumer Goods organization?

Are you a certified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) skilled in financial due diligence and modeling?

MacGregor Black is currently collaborating with a health and wellness consumer brand in search of a Financial Planning & Analysis Lead. This is a full-time role.

As the Financial Planning & Analysis Lead, you will engage closely with executive leadership and facilitate the global expansion of the organization. In this capacity, you will report directly to the CEO and play a pivotal role in analyzing financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct monthly evaluations and prepare presentations to communicate insights to management, leveraging extensive datasets of operational and financial data.
  • Design financial forecasting models for business planning and strategic initiatives, working in conjunction with relevant budget planners.
  • Assist the finance department in the preparation, maintenance, and review of various monthly management reports.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to improve the controls and quality of operational and financial reporting.
  • Engage in project management and the preparation of reports for external stakeholders.
  • Support the development of Board-related strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Accountant (ACA or ACCA)
  • Expertise in constructing financial models and managing large datasets.
  • Ability to understand and apply AI within the financial planning and analysis processes.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Innovative and forward-thinking approach.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of online retail and consumer health on an international scale is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools is a plus.
  • Capacity to gather work requirements and convert them into actionable insights.
  • Experience in collaborating with and managing offshore teams.
