We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in EMEA, responsible for preparing and reviewing annual statutory financial statements, supporting dividend cycles, and ensuring compliance with governing accounting principles.
About the Role:- Prepare and review annual statutory financial statements for the UK and various legal entities within the EMEA region.
- Support dividend cycles for the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Assist in the annual internal and external audit cycles for the above entities.
- Ensure local GAAP adjustments are booked into the secondary ledger for entities transitioned to Oracle, reconciling with submitted financial statements.
- Track statutory reporting requirements and progress, maintaining the compliance tracking portal.
- Work with local controllers and advisors to roll out statutory reporting software to additional legal entities.
- Support Treasury and Legal in reviewing cash and reserves availability, calculating proposed dividends, and preparing supporting schedules.
- Assist in implementing new financial systems, such as Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Collaborate with the Corporation Tax manager to ensure tax provisions and disclosures are accurately included in statutory financial statements.
We're looking for a fully qualified ACCA or ACA finance professional with considerable statutory accounts experience, ideally within a large multinational company. You'll have a strong understanding of UK GAAP (FRS102) and US GAAP, with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize workload and deadlines.
