Platform Property Care is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to become part of our dynamic Mobile Caretaking team as a Caretaker. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential caretaking services across our estates, blocks, and schemes in Worcester.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of our properties and their surroundings. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that our communal spaces are pleasant and welcoming for residents.
Daily responsibilities will encompass:
- Maintaining cleanliness in communal areas and ensuring they are free from hazards
- Conducting leaf clearance and weed control
- Performing litter collection and graffiti removal
- Assisting with minor repairs and addressing issues related to fly tipping
This is a mobile position primarily covering sites in Worcester, so local residency is required. You may also need to travel to various locations across Worcestershire, Herefordshire, and Gloucestershire as necessary, making a valid driving license essential. A company van will be provided for your use during work hours.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring 35 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday, with core hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. There is no requirement for weekend work.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who possesses:
- A positive attitude with a flexible and proactive mindset, capable of working collaboratively within a team
- A keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Experience in a customer-oriented environment, particularly in cleaning and caretaking roles
- Proficient IT skills, as you will utilize an iPad to log repairs and complete health and safety checks
- A full driving license
- A Basic DBS check will also be required for this position.
