About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Astbury Meadow Garden Centre. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to order, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Monitor stock levels and contribute to the ordering process to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Work efficiently to minimize waste and maintain high standards of food hygiene.
  • Carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the kitchen is clean and safe.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Restaurant Manager to develop and implement new menu ideas and promotions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chef in a similar environment.
  • Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of food hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
