Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the formulation and execution of security policies and protocols for Mace projects, ensuring adherence to applicable security regulations and standards.
- Conduct comprehensive security risk evaluations for projects, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective measures to mitigate risks.
- Analyze security incident reports and devise strategies to avert future occurrences.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, as well as industry-specific security standards.
- Design and deliver security training and awareness initiatives for project personnel and contractors.
- Perform audits and inspections of project locations to verify compliance with security policies.
- Manage contracts with external security service providers, including personnel, monitoring services, and technology suppliers.
- Maintain thorough documentation of security incidents, audits, inspections, and related activities.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders regarding security compliance matters, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare security-related reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate towards achieving net-zero carbon transition goals, actively identifying and managing associated carbon emissions during project execution.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in security compliance software tools, including risk assessment and incident reporting systems.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, for report and policy preparation.
- Familiar with security technology systems, such as intrusion detection and access control.
- Understanding of physical security measures, including barriers and locks.
- Experience conducting security audits and inspections in construction environments.
- Knowledge of security hardware, including CCTV systems and alarm technologies.
- Familiarity with UK construction industry security regulations, such as CDM Regulations and BS 7858.
- Experience in security compliance management within the construction sector or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Commitment to ethical standards and integrity.
- Flexibility and adaptability to evolving circumstances.
- Experience in leading and managing teams effectively.
