Job Overview:

Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Childcare Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop skills in childcare while working towards a Level 2 qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a high-quality caring environment for children, creating a warm and stimulating atmosphere for their development.
  • Work with children, providing individual attention and group activities to promote emotional, social, and educational growth.
  • Attend all training sessions and complete assignments as set out in the training agreement.
  • Work as part of the team, liaising with mentors and managers to ensure seamless delivery of childcare services.
  • Be responsible for meeting the personal, social, and emotional needs of individual children, providing adult-led interactions, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Participate in team meetings, share ideas, and contribute to good standards of safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the nursery.
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as determined by the trainee's supervisor, ensuring compliance with the nursery's equal opportunities policy.

Requirements:

  • Desirable: Level 2 Childcare Qualification
  • Must be able to gain a clear DBS
  • GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
