Wastewater Adoption Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Adoption Inspector to join our team at Leep Utilities. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that wastewater assets are constructed and adopted in accordance with approved drawings and design and construction guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and survey drains and sewers at installation stages and post-construction to ensure compliance with approved plans.
- Identify and report any defects or remediation work required.
- Assist the Wastewater Adoption Managers with onsite inquiries and provide engineering solutions to developers.
- Ensure all wastewater assets are fit for adoption with accurate documentation.
- Develop and maintain effective site records electronically for all inspections carried out on site.
- Attend pre-construction site meetings with developers and contractors to ensure compliance with approved plans.
- Witness air tests and pressure tests of sewer networks and pressure pipes to ensure compliance with design and construction guidance.
- Plan and manage your own site inspection program to ensure all construction sites are monitored to the appropriate standard.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a comprehensive knowledge of wastewater assets and the design and installation process. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong customer relationships and work collaboratively with developers and contractors.
You will also have a good standard of English and mathematics, with the ability to read and understand 'as laid' drawings. A full driving license is required, and experience in drainage infrastructure construction and adoptions is essential.
