Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Weekends)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Evoke Staffing Ltd. as a Weekend Electrical Maintenance Specialist. This is a permanent career opportunity for a qualified and experienced electrical engineer working a weekend shift (Friday to Sunday 05.30 am – 17.30 pm) (Saturday to Monday 05.30 am – 17.30 pm).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous automated maintenance of fully automated machinery and plant equipment to ensure high Health and Safety and operating standards.
  • Fault finding and diagnostic checks and repairs on 3 phase controls and electrical controls including PLC's (Siemens 7).
  • Reducing engineering downtime by responding rapidly to machine breakdowns and failures, working within the wider engineering team to deliver, develop and improve maintenance schedules.
  • Undertaking projects and assisting with all on-site installations and machinery/equipment assessment.

Requirements:

  • Education to HNC/ONC and/or NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering or as a time-served engineer.
  • At least 3-5 years of previous, relevant electrical maintenance engineering experience.
  • Ability to work flexibly between Friday and Monday each week.
