About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Biotechnology Specialist to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of cell culture and media formulations. You will work closely with our team to develop novel biopharmaceutical drug substances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cell culture and media formulations to produce novel biopharmaceutical drug substances
  • Work with bench (15ml, 250ml) and pilot (200L) scale bioreactors
  • Conduct research duties to optimize cell culture and fermentation systems
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement new research methods
Requirements
  • BSc/MSc in Biochemistry/Biotechnology (or other relevant discipline)
  • Excellent understanding of cell culture & fermentation systems
  • Working knowledge using mammalian expression systems (e.g. CHO)
  • Understanding of protein analysis techniques
  • Experience using TECAN purification systems (desirable)
