Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our Contracting Team at Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC). CPC is a purchasing consortium that provides purchasing frameworks, dynamic purchasing systems, and procurement consultancy services for schools, academies, colleges, universities, and other educational organisations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the People category, overseeing the production of purchasing agreements. They will deliver efficient and effective framework agreements to our members, providing day-to-day management, training, mentoring, and support to the Contract Manager, Senior Procurement Officer, and Procurement Officer(s) within the People category.

The ideal candidate will have extensive procurement experience within the public sector, with a detailed working knowledge of public sector procurement legislation and experience of working in the education sector. They will also have experience in managing a small team of direct reports.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £52,000, dependent on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including:
