Midwife Sonographer

We are seeking an experienced Midwife Sonographer to join our team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, providing high-quality maternity care to women and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Take overall responsibility for ensuring safe, clinically effective, and women-centered care across the maternity care pathway.
- Lead by example, offering expert midwifery clinical advice, operational support, and management of teams and services.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver care to women and babies with complex needs.
- Provide expert clinical and professional midwifery leadership, accountable for the women, babies, and public.
- First-class degree or equivalent.
- NMC registration and revalidation requirements.
- UK CASE accredited BSc hon or equivalent Ultrasound qualification.
- Evidence of communication within a multidisciplinary team.
- Evidence of empathy and understanding to patients/carers.
- Evidence of Basic keyboard/IT skills.
- Evidence of manipulation of U/S equipment and patients to achieve best results.
