Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Early Years Recruitment. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement engaging play activities for children, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Conduct and record observations of children's development and progress.
  • Plan and deliver activities tailored to the needs of your assigned key children.
  • Provide personal care and support to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of children's activities and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, sharing information and updates on their child's development.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss children's progress and share best practices.
Requirements:
  • Must hold an NVQ 2 or 3 qualification in childcare and education.
  • Be passionate about working with children and committed to their development and well-being.
  • Be a team player who can work independently and use their initiative when necessary.
  • Be punctual and reliable, with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of care and education.
  • Hold a valid DBS check and be registered on the update service.
