Interim Management Accountant Position

Are you a seasoned Management Accountant seeking a temporary assignment? We are pleased to be representing a stable and well-established company, part of a global group, in their search for an Interim Management Accountant to be based in their Banbury, Oxfordshire office.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you could be a newly or part-qualified candidate looking for a fast-paced and challenging environment while the client recruits for a permanent person.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in producing management accounts at month-end
* Provide data analysis for Group Reporting
* Oversee sales ledger accounting, including self-billing and credit control
* Assist with various weekly/monthly group reporting tasks
* Support cash forecasting
* Ensure accurate financial information is input into SAP, maintaining accurate records
* Analyze and report
* Complete VAT returns
* Intrastat/Extrastat and EC Sales returns
* Support with year-end audit

Requirements:

* Qualified or working towards qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
* Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system would be advantageous, along with Microsoft Excel (essential)
* Reliable individual, committed to the duration of the contract
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Analytical individual with an eye for detail

Suitable candidates will be invited to interview at short notice via Teams, with the successful candidate able to start at short notice. This will be a mainly site-based role, with 1 day per week from home available after the initial handover period.
