Position Overview:
As a Literature Graduate Teaching Support Specialist, you will embark on a rewarding journey in the field of education.

Prospero Teaching is actively seeking Literature graduates who are passionate about fostering learning in a secondary school environment.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have demonstrated excellence in English throughout their academic career, including GCSE and A-level qualifications, and possess a degree in a literature-related discipline.

If you are enthusiastic about the prospect of working as a teaching support specialist in a secondary school, where there may be pathways to further teaching qualifications, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

In addition to academic prowess, we highly value effective communication skills and a commitment to enhancing students' educational experiences.

As a Literature Teaching Support Specialist, you will engage with students who benefit from consistent support, positive role models, and a nurturing approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individualized English tutoring sessions tailored to your subject expertise.
Support and Development:

You will receive comprehensive training, mentorship, and support from an experienced consultant at Prospero, as well as from our dedicated Training and Development Team, comprised of seasoned educators.

Additionally, we offer a range of complimentary training and professional development sessions.

School Support:

You will be equipped with essential resources and strategies to assist learners, including training in behavior management and both group and one-on-one instruction from qualified, passionate staff.

Position Details:
  • Full-time hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Participation in an after-school club once a week until 4:00 PM.
  • Compensation is provided weekly at a daily rate of GBP 100, with potential for a permanent position in the future.
