Eating Disorder Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in delivering an effective and evidence-based community eating disorder service. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing medical leadership and contributing to the development and maintenance of the pathway.
Main DutiesThe post-holder will be responsible for providing Consultant Psychiatrist-level assessment and treatment for children, young people, and families referred to the Eating Disorder Pathway. The clinical workload will be as per the Choice and Partnership model, with a full-time practitioner assessing approximately new cases per annum. The Consultant will have consultant-level responsibility for all children and young people in the pathway, with a direct caseload of patients and follow-up appointments per week.
