Russell Taylor Group is seeking a highly experienced General Manager/Director to lead a material testing service business in Herefordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the business forward, taking ownership of revenue goals, and growing external revenue.
The Role- Oversee the day-to-day laboratory services supplied both internally and externally.
- Take responsibility for the technical operation of the laboratory.
- Implement and maintain the Quality System.
- Maintain and improve services to internal and external customers.
- Previous experience with NADCAP/metallurgy/materials.
- Experience of managing a site covering 35 employees.
- Experience of commercial and financial P&L.
- Previous experience of ISO 17025.
- Entrepreneurial flair and creative approach to business.
- Ability to communicate with various levels of stakeholders.
- Demonstrates assertiveness, determination, and perseverance.
- Enthusiastic and able to enthuse others.
- Loyal and reliable with a friendly personality.
