Job Description

Role Summary:

The Payroll Specialist is a key member of the Finance Team, responsible for delivering a comprehensive and accurate end-to-end payroll service. This involves timely and precise processing of payroll entries, statutory payments, deductions, and benefits, including salary sacrifice and BIK charges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll entries and oversee those of other colleagues in the Finance Team.
  • Accurate processing of statutory payments and deductions, including SSP, SMP, SHPP, SPP, SAP, AEO, and redundancy.
  • Manage the voluntary BIK charges and salary sacrifice processes.
  • Ensure adherence to pension deductions, auto enrolment, pension scheme rules, and pension regulations.
  • Manage pay requests for colleagues outside of the main payroll.
  • Manage payment and admin requests to third-party providers.
  • End of Year processes.

Reporting and Compliance:

  • Production and delivery of monthly reporting to the Finance Team.
  • Support internal and external audits.
