Senior Competition Lawyer

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Competition Lawyer to join our team in London. As a key member of our EU Competition team, you will be responsible for advising the business and senior leadership on strategic matters related to competition law in the UK and EU.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Drive regulatory competition matters focusing primarily on the UK, including integrated partnership with the local legal team.
* Advise the business and legal colleagues on competition-related matters across all Amazon businesses.
* Help shape the company's long-term strategy on high-impact and often novel issues.
* Partner with our public policy team and engage with regulators and policy makers on a broad range of issues.
* Contribute as a member of the EU Competition team to develop mechanisms for training, compliance, and cross-functional coordination.

**Requirements**

* Fully qualified lawyer with outstanding academic and legal qualifications.
* 5+ years of experience in UK and EU competition law.
* Experience in independently managing competition-related regulatory matters, with deep demonstrated experience in the UK.
* Experience independently managing a large number and variety of mission-critical projects and meeting deadlines.
