About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, working with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment, and facilities.
  • Be highly proficient in the use of all equipment within scope of practice, ensuring a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues, providing input to the review, update, and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes.
  • Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programmes, ensuring all records are maintained in line with statutory and organisational requirements.
  • Provide support to the Clinical Lead Radiographers, ensuring equipment is safe and fit for purpose and can report faults in line with Nuffield Health policy.
Requirements
  • A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), with a postgraduate qualification and/or high levels of technical knowledge (desirable).
  • Experience in a wide variety of MRI scans, including Cardiac MRI and/or CT, is highly desirable.
  • An understanding and empathetic approach to patients and staff alike, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
