Job Title: Chief Finance Officer

We are seeking an experienced and influential Chief Finance Officer to join our team at NHS Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board. As a key member of our executive team, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of our organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in leadership roles, with a deep understanding of Integrated Care Systems (ICS) and Integrated Care Partnerships (ICPs). You will be responsible for leading and influencing across the local health and care system, working closely with executive colleagues to support the development and delivery of our long-term plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of our financial strategy and direction
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to our executive team
  • Work closely with our partners across the ICS to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including NHS trusts, local authorities, and voluntary sector organizations
  • Ensure that our financial planning and analysis processes are robust and effective
Requirements
  • Chartered accountant with experience of operating at a senior/board level
  • Recent and relevant experience in a large and complex organization
  • Understanding of ICBs, ICS, and ICPs
  • Track record of promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in leadership roles
  • Ability to lead and influence across the local health and care system
