We are seeking a number of experienced HGV technicians to join our team at MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd in Nuneaton, working on a full-time permanent basis, either day or night shift.

As a successful HGV Technician, you will have a strong understanding of the intricate workings of large commercial vehicles and have previous experience working in a workshop environment.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Interpreting instructions from job cards and repair orders, and complying with repair instructions
  • Attending training sessions and staying up-to-date with the latest technical information
  • Accurately reporting and recording work done and tests carried out, including reporting any further work required or vehicle faults
  • Maintaining allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition
  • Providing information, maintaining records, and carrying out duties in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
  • Enhancing the image and reputation of the company while supporting its commercial interests
  • Complying with good health and safety practice, statutory requirements, company policies, and standard procedures

To be successful in this role, you will need to work well as part of a small team, be a good communicator, and have the ability to take on a variety of different workloads, planned or otherwise.

You will also receive full dealer training and technical support, as well as support with career development.

For a limited time, anyone joining the organisation in a technician position that successfully passes their probation will be entitled to a £2,500 joining bonus.
