About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team, providing support and care to individuals with learning disabilities. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing great leadership and day-to-day supervision to a team of support workers.
  • Assisting the locality manager in the supervision, coaching, and mentoring of the team.
  • Providing direct care and support to individuals and modeling best practice.
  • Coordinating the daily provision of support and activities to ensure a high-quality, responsive, and efficient service.
  • Managing finances and other resources, as well as meeting legal requirements and standards of care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with people with learning disabilities.
  • Experience developing skills within a team.
  • Previous management experience is desirable.
  • A relevant social care qualification.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
