Amazon Business EU Sarl, UK Branch - P97 is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to oversee vendor sourcing and management responsibilities. A successful candidate will be able to deliver on improved financial results, delivery performance, capacity, and sustainability efforts. This individual will be expected to manage multiple vendors concurrently and directly, working with a team that contributes significantly to overall transportation and supply chain strategy within the International Global Mile space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Leading stakeholder and partner teams indirectly to build a track record of consistently delivering valuable projects.
- Strategy: Design and implement strategy for individual procurement projects and the overall procurement function to support all the goals of the business, not just financial goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or an advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related technical or quantitative field.
- Significant procurement experience.
- Proven transportation and supply chain experience.
- Multi-million dollar contract negotiation experience.
- Experience of creating, defining, and implementing procurement strategy.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze large sets of data.
- Experience with Tableau and other data visualization tools.
About the Role:
This role will work with large export parcel suppliers with varying degrees of complexity. This role will work closely with internal stakeholder teams, across export operations, exports finance, business, controllership, planning, and supply chain design/deployment, and will also work with external stakeholders in the management of assigned accounts.
About the Team:
This team is responsible for managing 3rd party relationships in the export parcel space.
